WTPA Parent Group
Lunch Income Compliance Forms will be coming home with students in the upcoming days. Please have these filled out and returned to the main office. This is something we do need to have on file to be compliant with the State of Ohio.
Please continue to send in any up-to-date immunization’s forms or exempt forms for the 23-24 school year.
Transportation: As many of our families are aware WTPA has a new vendor, Auxilio, for transportation needs for the 23 24 school year. Any remaining routes are being finalized and will be distributed to families as soon as those completed routes are in WTPA’s possession.

We wanted to send a reminder of Ohio Truancy and HB410 Laws when it comes to student’s absences.
Excessive Absences ( Codes E, EP, U, UP)
- 38 hrs/6 days, Excused or Unexcused, within a month- long timeframe, periodically. This is per/each calendar month.
- 65 hrs/10 days, Excused or Unexcused, within a school year, periodically.
Habitual Truancy ( Codes U, UP)
- 30 hrs/5 days consecutive (straight) Unexcused.
- 42 hrs/ 7 days within a month – long timeframe Unexcused , periodically. This is per/each calendar month.
- 72 hrs/11 days within a school year Unexcused, periodically.

23-24 School Year Dismissal Changes
•Any students entering after 8:15am and leaving prior to 3:30pm, must be signed out by a parent/guardian in the main office.
•Dismissal changes must be communicated to the office prior to 2:00pm day of.
•Phones may not be answered between 2:30pm- 3:40pm to prepare for dismissal.
•No student will be dismissed after 2:30pm unless previously communicated with the office.
•No parents will be permitted into the building at any time without scheduling an appointment.
•All parents are to wait outside the door for their student.
•During dismissal, all parents must wait on the parking lot side of the bridge.
**These policies have been put in place to ensure the safety of all students and staff.

Our WTPA Parent Group has been throwing some amazing events lately! Check out their most recent one to celebrate our incredible girls’ volleyball team on an undefeated season!
Students were able to dress up, enjoy a nice home cooked, catered, meal, and each received awards for their participation!
Students and parents had so much fun at our Halloween Trunk or Treat again this year! we cant thank our volunteers and vendors enough for helping us have a spooktacular event!
