PUBLIC HEARING
IDEA Part B Funds
The Board shall hold a Public Hearing to allow for public comment on the use of IDEA Part B funds, pursuant to requirements set forth by the Ohio Department of Education and provides for an opportunity for public comment on the use of IDEA funds.
Test Preparation Time Limit Waiver
Pursuant to ORC 3301.0729, there is a limit to the amount of time in which schools may engage in test preparation for students; approximately 2 percent of total instructional hours, with some exceptions.
The school wishes to apply for a waiver in order to provide assistance to the students who need the additional testing preparation time.
The Board shall hold a Public Hearing on the application for the waiver, and invites the public to provide commentary and/or opinion.
The Public Hearing is scheduled on the agenda of the regular meeting of the governing authority:
